AFRA only accredits removalists that are equipped with the appropriate tools, vehicles, premises and staff training required to complete a professional move. Before qualifying as an AFRA member, a removalist company must be audited to ensure that the business and its procedure, processes and paperwork meet regulations.
Fully insured
All AFRA members are required to carry Public Liability Insurance of up to $10,000,000 for both their protection and the safety of their clients. They can also offer you appropriate Transit Insurance to further protect your possessions during your move.
Fully trained
All AFRA certified removalists are required to undergo a certified training program via various outlets including TAFE courses in the Australian states and territories. In the event of a problem that cannot be resolved with the company itself, the client can enlist the assistance of AFRA in resolving the claim. If this is unsuccessful, an independent disputes tribunal will adjudicate and the AFRA removalists will abide by this decision.
