Initially gave 5 stars after first using The removals group. Second time around I was very disappointed. The guy that turned up conned me out of $100 saying I needed to pay GST in cash. Now I realised he just pocketed the money. Disappointing after such a good first experience.

Ben and his incredible team from The Removals Group have once again taken all the stress and worry out of moving. I’ve had the privilege of moving with them four times, including their storage of my furniture which was returned in perfect condition. Ben is so reassuring in his ability to book and organise everything for moving day, even at the last minute.Kai and Daiki were exceptional for my last move, making the whole experience so positive in every aspect of the move. Also very kindly returning days later to carry up an extra large rug which was delivered to my building and moving furniture to lay the rug. Kai and Daiki are such extremely polite, kind, helpful and efficient young gentlemen. I would highly recommend The Removals Group and thank Ben and his wonderful team for their exceptional service. Had a really great experience storing my things for 3 months and then moving up from the Gold Coast to Brisbane. Ben was very accommodating and communicative especially since I was out of town for 2 months. They gave me so much flexibility in terms of how long I was storing my things - and the move up to my new apartment in Brisbane was especially efficient. Really grateful for their help and great service. Would recommend!!

Ben and his team, in particular Kai and Will, are changing the game in terms of offering a removalist service. They were prompt, friendly and treated our furniture as if it were their own. I used this company to move a the contents of a 2 bedroom apartment, from Broadbeach to Labrador and they charged me over $1600. I was so shocked as I had everything packed and the guy said he was very pleasantly surprised at how organised I was. It took them 8 hours to move me, which I find ridiculous. It should have taken no more than 5 hours.

If you are looking for the highest level of professionalism then this is the company to go with. We used The Removals Group to move twice and store our things with and they couldn't have done the job better. Kai, Will and Konan are fast and really careful with everything. They are also friendly and great communicators. Ben runs his company with honesty and integrity which is hard to find these days. We highly recommend them!

If we could choose more stars we would have. Polite, well trained staff with all the proper equipment to do a great job with no damage on 2 occasions now. Even towards the end of a long hard day, Ben can still be polite on the phone. Due to their great job the first time, we were able to condense 2 storage units into 1, saving us money on storage fees. Then moving it all into our unit, some months later, again no damage. The trained, friendly staff don’t waste time either. Not even complaints when a patio table had to be carried up 5 floors because it did not fit in the lift. Could not recommend Ben and his team more highly.

The Removals Group are truly fantastic. Nothing is a problem for them and they go above and beyond to make sure we are happy with the removal. This is the 4th time they have done a removal for us and we would highly recommend them to everyone. They even, for the 4th time, moved our pianola and had to take off the front door to get it in! Again nothing was a bother to them.

I highly recommend The Removals Group. I engaged this company to shift my household last week and they were way above my high expectations. Unbelievable service from first meeting Ben to when the 2 young guys Matt and Will had the truck loaded ready to move through to unloading.These guys are professional, polite, clarified and nothing was a drama for them. Even when settlement was delayed an hour no drama!The very best things about engaging this company to move my furniture and goods it was a stress free with no breakages or damage.Well done to Ben and the team. These guys have the gift. I cannot fault them. A professionally run family business. Our move was stress free and there was not a single moment I felt I was putting the guys out or there was any lack of communication. I felt completely comfortable from meeting Ben through to Daniel leaving our new home. Even their staff held a professional attitude at all times and not once broke a sweat. Daniel and Ollie were so kind to my young boys and not once did they break the kindness. In fact my eldest says he has a new friend in Ollie now :) I would, in a heart beat, recommend these guys be at the top of your list should you want the job done properly... Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience with The Removals Group. They arrived several hours late, admittedly they kept us updated, but we had booked this removal several weeks prior so expected to at least see them in the morning. They finally arrived around 1.30pm and we advised the owner that our new home had no power. My husband had expressed concerns about losing daylight for the move. My husband suggested that they load the truck and then move our furniture and belongings the next day in daylight. The owner of the Removals Groups assured that it would be fine and they would use torchlight if necessary. This was the biggest error of judgement and it cost my husband and I a lot of stress during the ordeal. I was following the removalists in the dark with the torchlight of my iphone to ensure both their safety and hopefully my brand new walls. All of the boxes were left in our garage then for my husband to move the next day. They demanded we remove our hanging clothes that night, so I was emptying the wardrobe boxes in the dark. In the end I just had to throw them on the floor. We paid this company the full amount but feel we should have been offered some kind of compensation within the price due to the error of their judgement on the day. All in all a very disappointing and extremely average performance. Had The Removals Group arrived in the morning the whole uplift and move could have been done in daylight and all the boxes I had carefully labelled for each of the rooms could have been placed correctly in there instead of my husband who suffers chronic arthritis to do. We paid almost $2000 for their service. So incredibly disappointed.If I could just correct you on the point of you ringing the next morning to sort it out is not actually true. I rang you and left a message for you to call me back. That's what prompted you to get in contact with me.As for no electricity, there was no reason why the actual move should have been done in dark, if you had loaded the truck and then did the actual moving the next day in daylight. You say you've been in the business for 30 years , I would of thought that made common sense!!!As for offering to come back and move the boxes was a half hearted offer as it would have taken days to have you return to do that.Thanks for the apology..... sorry no you haven't even apologised for the mismanagement of the move. very unprofessional

The efficiency, "can do" attitude and cheerful disposition of all the boys ensured that what can be an extremely stressful day flowed smoothly without any problems at all. They plumbed my fridge in, washing machine, moved furniture around to suit my indecisiveness and made up all of our beds before we knew it! Not a single breakage or scrape. We would not use anyone else and recommend them highly. Another friend has already used them and was extremely happy. Thank you Ben and Dan, you run a great business and deserve much success.

My wife and I moved houses last week and all i can say is Ben one of the owners who i dealt with from the beginning was absolutely brilliant! He made the process so easy for my and my wife that we felt werent dealing with removalists. He was very professional and diligent and gave us good advice. You always think you know it all if you have moved a few times but you dont' these people do it every day and it really pays to hear their advice. Now when it came to having the truck at our place we had this guys Lez and Todd, they were from the same cut as Ben's; profesional , respectful and helpful in every way. I was scared to have my property damaged by the furniture and appliances removing etc as i have seen things going badly and they took care of my goods and my house as if it was theirs. there was no rush but also not stalling, everything was done in perfect sync and with clear direction. They were pretty funny too! . My wife managed the whole process as I am busy at work and they did treat her very well and support every step through the process. Can't speak highly enough of the group and I do recommend to anyone wanting to have a good and smooth experience. thanks Ben, Lez and Todd for your help!

These guys are absolute professionals and are the best removalist company we have ever dealt with. We own a lot of valuable furniture, a piano, solid sandstone table, glass cabinets and antiques and The Removals Group got all our belongings from point A to point B with no damage at all. Not only were they extremely professional they were also all very kind and so pleasant to work with. They certainly made the stress of moving house a very easy and happy experience. I am a real estate agent and I would have no hesitation recommending these guys to all my clients!
